  2. TOMB RAIDER II PC DEMO

  4. Run the Tomb2.exe to run the game. This will take you through the setup
  5. and into the game. 
  6.  
  7. If you wish to change any of the settings, you will need to run the ReRunSetup program. 
  8. Having changed the settings, you will need to run the Tomb2.exe in the normal way.
  9.  
  10. If, for any reason the ReRunSetup routine does not start the Setup menu,  you will
  11. need to create a ShortCut. Simply right-click on Tomb2.exe icon and select
  12. CreateShortcut. This will create the ShortCut called "Shortcut to Tomb2.exe". 
  13. Right click on the ShortCut icon and select "Properties". Click on the tab 
  14. labeled "Shortcut". At the end of the line labeled "Target" add the word " setup".
  15. The last part of the line should be "TOMB2.EXE setup". You should only be adding
  16. the word " setup" to the end of the line which was there when you selected the
  17. "Shortcut" tab.Once this is done, click on "OK". To run the SetUp screen,
  18. simply double-click on the shortcut icon. having changed the settings, you will need
  19. to run the Tomb2.exe in the normal way.

  21. You will need DirectX 5 in order to run this demo. If this is not installed
  22. on your PC, please visit the Microsoft Web Page at:

  28. If you receive an error mesage "RUNTIME ERROR C++" please run the DXINFO utility
  29. (located in Program Files/directx/setup) save the DXINFO and attach it to an email
  30. with the subject "TR2 Runtime error" so it can be addressed in the final release
  31. of the product.

  33. Please note that this demo is not a finished product and may experience some
  34. graphics glitches when trying to run the demo with Hardware 3D Acceleration
  35. enabled with some 3D cards. These issues are known and are being addressed
  36. by our development group for the final version of the game.

  42. DOWN = Jump back
  43. RIGHT = Turn right
  44. LEFT = Turn left

  46. CTRL = Action
  47. ALT = Jump
  48. SPACE BAR = Draw/holster weapon
  49. / Key = Get/throw flare
  50. Keypad 0 (Ins) = Look
  51. Shift = Walk (when used with directional arrows)
  52. Delete = Side step left
  53. End = Roll
  54. Page Down = Side step right
